The boot series
Original. Intimate. Never Recreated.
Introducing my newest body of work: a collection of hand-painted Dr. Martens boots, each transformed into a wearable work of art. Every design begins with a fresh pair of boots and an original concept painted directly onto the leather using professional textile paints, sealed and finished for longevity.
The series begins with the Dr. Martens Maybole Hi leather Chelsea boot, a timeless shape reimagined through fine art. Each design will be released and listed as a single edition available in your size upon purchase, and never recreated again. Once sold, the artwork retires permanently, ensuring every pair remains truly one-of-one.
Every painting is priced at $750 PLUS the cost of the boots and takes 4–6 weeks to complete. Each pair arrives signed, numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, beautifully packaged and ready to wear (or display).
If you’d like to commission a design on a different boot, please see the suggested options below. Please note that the price will vary depending on the style.
This collection is for the collectors, the scene-makers, and the ones who believe art should be lived in, not just looked at.

Each design in this collection begins with a carefully selected base, a blank canvas of quality leather and thoughtful construction. The boots listed below have been chosen intentionally for their smooth, stitch-free panels, high-grade leather, and structural integrity. These features help ensure that the painted surface remains as pristine as possible, minimizing cracking and wear over time.
While the Dr. Martens Maypole Hi Leather Boot serves as the foundation for many of my designs, I’ve curated a list of alternative boots that maintain the same standard of craftsmanship and aesthetic potential.
If you already own a pair of boots that you’d love to have painted, even if it isn’t listed here, you’re welcome to include the details in the purchase inquiry form above. I’ll review the material and structure to ensure it’s suitable for painting, and we can collaborate from there.
