I love the intimacy and collaboration of custom work. There’s something special about transforming someone’s story or vision into wearable art. Whether we’re creating something deeply personal or wildly imaginative, the process is one I approach with care, curiosity, and reverence for both the piece and the person it’s for.

I offer custom, one-of-a-kind painted pieces for clothing and accessories. Whether you have a specific design in mind or would like to collaborate on a creative concept, I work with you to bring your vision to life with my personal touch. To inquire about a commission, simply reach out to me via the form below, and I’ll be happy to discuss your ideas and the details of the process.

To learn more about how the commission process works please refer to the information at the bottom of this page.

  • Step 1: Inquiry – Fill out the form above with details about the item you'd like to be painted and any concept ideas or themes.

Step 2: Sourcing the Item – You can either provide a new item, or I can source a vintage or unique piece for an extra charge. Please refer to the list of items I prefer to paint on for lasting results (see guidelines below). If you would like to provide the item yourself, photographs of the item will be requested during our initial consultation.

Step 3: Collaboration and Concept Design – I will take your theme or concept and create a design with my unique spin. We will collaborate to ensure the design is exactly what you want, and the final design will require your approval before the painting process begins.

Step 4: Deposit – A deposit of $300 is required before starting the work. This helps secure your spot on my schedule. The remaining balance will be due upon receiving the finished item.

Step 5: The Painting Process – Once the design is approved and the deposit is made, I’ll begin painting. Expect the painting to take 1-2 weeks for smaller items, and 2-4 weeks for larger pieces (like blazers and jackets).

Step 6: Final Product and Shipping – Once the painting is complete, I’ll ship the signed item back to you with careful packaging and your certificate of authentication.

  • I specialize in working with natural fibers, structured clothing, and accessories that maintain their form and durability. I prefer to avoid painting on soft, prone-to-wear materials like denim, as it tends to diminish the longevity of the artwork. Below is a list of materials I typically work with, and items I prefer not to paint on:

Things I’m happy to paint on:

    • Blazers, jackets, and coats

    • Tailored pants and skirts (especially pressed pieces)

    • Leather or fabric handbags, boots, corsets, harnesses, belts

    • Natural fiber or natural fiber blend garments

Items I generally do not paint on:

    • Denim (due to its quick wear and tear)

    • Soft, unstructured materials

    • Items with heavy stitching or embellishments that make the painting process challenging

If you are unsure if a piece you have in your collection would be a good candidate for a canvas, please send an email with photos of the item to Contact@MarloGreta.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Each piece is a wearable painting, hand-crafted, deeply symbolic, and one-of-a-kind.
Prices reflect the time, detail, and craftsmanship involved in bringing your vision to life. Final quotes are based on your garment, desired level of detail, and time required.
